 Darwin Latin Dance Festival is undoubtedly the biggest and best Latin dance event ever to be staged in Darwin. We invite all of the Salseros and Salseras who want to escape the routine of everyday life to our 6th ever Darwin Latin Dance Festival in the Northern Territory of Australia. Kadu y Larissa	This astonishing Brazilian couple is renowned for their incredible and crisp moves in their Zouk-Lambada routines. They met in Brazil and teamed-up short after in 2006, performing and conducted workshops in major events throughout Brazil. Wining dance competitions in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, winning a gold medal in the Conselho Brasileiro de Danca Competition band and placed third in the regional salsa step competition. In 2007 they moved to Brisbane Australia to be part of the Rio Rhythmics Latin Dance Academy teacher’s team. Since then they have been performing and conducted workshops in Melbourne, Adelaide Darwin and Brisbane. Jason y Jerinne	Jason y Jerinne, both who are passionate dancers and educators. After years of teaching for a variety of organizations, they've finally started their own studio, to teach the dances they love. They believe that dance education should be done in a fun and enjoyable manner without sacrificing emphasis on proper techniques and safety. They believe that dance is an exploration and expression of self and to that end, students are encouraged to explore and find themselves through the dance, classes and performances. In short, DansFlava is about variety, about choices, about individuality and about self-identity. Juan y Samantha Are on top of the charts in Australia's Bachata dancing After they return from a tour, which covered Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne Brisbane and recently just came back from Byron Bay Latin Fiesta where they thaught and performed. Steve y Kelly Doll

Steve has been dancing for many years now and has sowed his seeds and style at Spin City Dance in Melbourne under the world renown  instructor Sharon Pakir. He has traveled and performed extensively at places such as....The Malaysian Salsa Congress 2008, New Zealand Salsa Congress 2009, Sydney Salsa Congress 2007, 2008, 2009, The Melbourne Latin Festival 2009, The Victorian Salsa Classic 2008, 2009, just to name a few. Steve possses a knowledge, skill and imagination that makes his aerials and tricks truly amazing to watch. Kelly Ann! A girl without any fears probably sums her up the best ! Just by watching her amazing aerial lifts, twists and death defying dives, will leave you wondering how did she do that ? She is undeniably “Australia's pinup pocket rocket”,  a full time swing dancer, actress, model & burlesque performer. Darwin Latin Dance Festival 2010 comprises two nights of parties and performances and two full days of workshops; Friday: Begionners workshops, Pre-Heat party and shows . Saturday: Allday workshop and Fiesta Caliente main event staging exhilarating performances by interstate and local dancers followed by part y . Sunday: All day workshops followed by Farewell BBQ (ATBA).

The Show
The Darwin Latin Dance Festival 2010 includes 2 nights with championships and spectacular shows by International, National and local artists whipping audiences into a frenzy with their amazing, energetic and 'High Voltage' shows, sharing their passion through their choreographies of Latin Dance with you, that will keep you on the edge.

The Workshops
The Darwin Latin Dance Festival 2010 includes over 20 different workshops taught by some world reknowned Latin Dance Instructors. You can learn Salsa ON-1, ON-2, Styling, Samba-de-Gafieira, Bachata, Zouk-Lambada, Kizomba, Cha Cha, Cuban Salsa and much more.  Whether you're a beginner or an advanced dancer, you will find a workshop to suit your level of expertise.

The Parties
Each night of the Darwin Latin Dance Festival there will be a party night with DJs and hundreds of dancers,  highlighting the "Fiesta Caliente" with over fourteen different shows of Latin dance styles including Salsa, Ball-room Latin, Zouk-Lambada, Hip-Hop, samba, Belly-Dance, and much more. The parties represent a great opportunity to dance and make friends with people. Some of the best National dancers will be ready and willing to give you a spin on the dance floor, not to mention our local talent.
