After a great success in 2007, here we are again to make 2008 a greater success.

 Darwin Latin Dance Festival 2008 is undoubtedly the biggest and best Latin dance event ever to be staged in Darwin. 

June 20-22 we will be privileged to bring to you, 2007 Australian champion, Marie-Grace Brown and dance partner Neil Singh, LDA Sydney. Carolyn and Daniel Brazilian Soul Brisbane recently arrived from Brazil. Lenny y Mio Vida Latina Brisbane Australia’s most sought after acrobatic Salsa Dancers already confirm and not to forget the sensational talents of our own dance groups and schools

Darwin Latin Dance Festival 2008 comprises two nights of parties and performances and two full days of workshops; Friday night, Pre-party; Saturday, Day workshop and Fiesta Caliente main event staging exhilarating performances by interstate and local dancers followed by party.

The Show
The Darwin Latin Dance Festival 2008 includes 2 nights with championships and spectacular shows by National and local artists whipping audiences into a frenzy with their amazing, energetic and 'High Voltage' shows, sharing their passion through their choreographies of Latin Dance with you, that will keep you on the edge.

The Workshops
The Darwin Latin Dance Festival 2008 includes over 20 different workshops taught by some of the best Latin Dance Instructors in the world. You can learn Salsa ON-1, ON-2, Samba-de-Gafieira, Bachata, Lambada, Cha Cha, Cuban Salsa and more.  Whether you're a beginner or a professional, you will find a workshop to suit your level of expertise.

The Parties
Each night of the Darwin Latin Dance Festival there will be a party night with DJs and hundreds of dancers,  highlighting the Cabaret Night Fiesta Caliente with over fourteen different shows of Salsa, Tango, Samba Gafieira, Hip-Hop, Belly-Dance, Capoeira and much more. The parties represent a great opportunity to dance and make friends with people. Some of the best National dancers will be ready and willing to give you a spin on the dance floor, not to mention our local talent.

Monsoons

LATIN DANCE at MONSOONS On Mitchell St. Darwin

Time has come where all Salseros y Salseras will be able to indulge them selves in this great venue, with a magnificent and ample dance floor   Now!!! Every Wednesday, Monsoons offers great choices of Cocktails, tapas and vast range of delicious menu for those who are looking into dine out and have a night of social dancing of Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and Samba-de-Gafieira, Bomba and Axe.   Introduce your friend to the Latin Dance. Bring them along to try Monsoons free dance classes from 8 pm every Wednesday.   Your friend will be able to test their skills in at least six different Latin Dance styles, which they will be able to improve and become a better dancer by taking it further by attending Salsita Dance School classes.

Bee Hive Nightclub Lounge

The Lounge area enables customers to relax comfortably in opulent and elegant surroundings, with Moulin rouge, old Monte Carlo theme, whilst enjoying a range of fine wines, spirits and other beverages. Whilst seated in the Lounge area, you will notice a lower volume level than current Entertainment Venues operating in Darwin, however once on the Dance floor the volume will be the same as an International Venue of its standard and class. With a large wooden dance floor, Salseras y Salseros will be able to dance to their hearts content. Table service is provided with old fashioned service standards and respect levels.
